Youth needs and aspirations on spotlight at TCF2021

13 October, 2021

The second day of the 7th edition of Tirana Connectivity Forum focused on bringing in the policy-making cycle new competent actors and interest groups; and on how to valorize SEE6 best asset: its human capital.

The event kicked off with the Keynote Address of H.E. Olta Xhaçka, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Albania and continued with the two-panels discussions on i) Human capital in post-COVID Maritime Transport and ii) What’s in for Youth in the Economic and Investment Plan?.

During the discussions of the second day of TCF2021, it became evident that “Building Better Balkans Together” also requires building upon youth needs and aspirations. To maintain and grow the SEE6 human capital, the Economic and investment Plan must embed youth in every flagship project.

TCF2021 was organized by Cooperation and Development Institute in Tirana, in cooperation with the three German political foundations Konrad Adenauer Foundation, Friedrich Ebert Foundation and Hanns Seidel Foundation and with the support of Europe House in Tirana, and under the auspices of the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the EU.
